This is a state-of-the-art mega food park. The first in Rajasthan. A high-tech facility with almost everything that a food mark can have. In fact, a first of its kind. That is Mega Food Park Ajmer. Union Food Processing Industries Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal inaugurates it at Roopangarh Village in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Overall investment for the setting up of this park is around 115 Crore. As a matter of fact, it aims to benefit more than 25,000 farmers in Ajmer and its adjoining districts. When we talk about artificial intelligence and machine learning, I think, these modern technologies can play a major role here. Not only in assessing how many farmers have actually benefitted but also what more they and other stakeholders expect from this mega food park. There are many fascinating things in store here. Firstly, its Cold Storage is of 5,000 MT.

Secondly, the Deep Freeze at Mega Food Park Ajmer is of 2,550 MT. Thirdly, the Dry Warehouse for Raw Materials here is of 2,500 MT. That is not all, in fact. The Dry Warehouse for Finished Goods is of 5,000 MT. And Silos is of 6,500 MT. When it comes to performance, its IQF is of 2 MT/Hr. Pack House is of 10 MT/Hr. and Steam Generator is of 8 MT/Hr. These are, in fact, the core facilities of the Central Processing Centre (CPC) of this Mega Food Park. The things will keep evolving. This is just the statistics of the launch. There is an additional investment of more than Rs. 250 Crore to take place in due course of time. This investment will go in around 30 food processing units in the park. Eventually, it aims to draw out a turnover of more than 500 Crore per annum.

Mega Food Park Ajmer is a great boon for Rajasthan and its farmers. The whole ecosystem will create a lot of employability and business opportunities. It will definitely benefit the farmers, youth, and women of Ajmer and areas around. In fact, according to report, it aims to provide an opportunity for direct and indirect employment to more than 5,000 persons. Imagine more than 5,000 families getting earning opportunities out of it. Also, it aims to benefit more than 25,000 farmers in CPC and PPC catchment areas. Overall, the modern facilities at the park will help not only farmers but processors, growers, and consumers. One this is sure. The food processing sector in Rajasthan will get a major thrust from this.  In fact, this project is part of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana.
