When I was a little girl I remember going to my Nanny's house and adoringly look at her jewellery, she had so many beautiful pieces and occassionally she would let me try them on and pose in front of her mirror. Those warm and fuzzy memories I think sparked my love for jewelry and even though my own jewelry collection isn't huge there are pieces that I will treasure and most likely pass down to my children or grandchildren like my Nan did with me.
For my 27th birthday I was extremely lucky and my little family gave me a Merci Maman personalised 18k gold plated intertwined necklace. I had my eye on this necklace for a long time, so I was so happy when I opened it on my birthday last month. It's a piece that I will almost certainly wear near enough every day and treasure always.
Engraved on the larger circle is "Darcie & Henry", whilst on the smaller circle it reads "J & K". My complete little family is now represented on a piece of jewelry that I can treasure forever. Pretty much the perfect gift, especially for easing the notation of getting closer to thirty!
