Merry Christmas! (with Funny Videos and All That Great Stuff)

It is Christmas Eve tomorrow here in the Santa Claus land. It is also Christmas Eve tomorrow in our neighboring country, whom are trying to steal the title from us. You know, the same country, which gave you

Abba,

Roxette,

Ikea,

and Hennes & Mauritz aka H&M, as it is more commonly known today.

The country that gave you Lisbeth Salander, The HivesMeshuggah, Yngwie MalmsteenAstrid LindgrenDolph Lundgren, Gantt, WESC and bunch of other cool stuff.  The same country that tries to claim they invented the meatballs. Yes, you know the country I’m talking about. Yes, they might be cool, but we won them in ice hockey and we have the Santa Claus.

But never mind the above, as that is not what we came here to say. The time is finally here again. After the same old business christmas presents* (hands up who got a bottle of wine), the very welcomed christmas bonuses (could have been larger again), and the hassle to make the economy better by buying present to kids, parents, siblings, loved ones and to all others you like or have to remember, and the even bigger hassle to transfer rest of that christmas bonus to your local grocery store owner’s account, in order to get the beautiful spread you rightfully deserve. The time is finally here again.

It is the time to relax, to forget about work for a while, to slow down, eat well, read a book, sip a glass or a few of red, eat tons of chocolate and enjoy the company of you family. All is not well in the kingdom, but Christmas is here. And we can’t wait  for it.

So enjoy, and be good.

And one more thing, as Columbo said. To keep true to the content, we’ll leave you with little something. A song about television ads. At Christmas. Put together by mr. Adam Buxton.

TV ads at Christmas with a Nice Christmas song.

And here is the totally awesome Chuck Norris Saves Christmas Video (for the really hard core fans. For security purposes, the video is not stored at this site).

Chuck Norris Saves Christmas.

Stupid and pointless, we know. But not as stupid as the country we shall not name saying they are the real country of the Santa Claus. That is just really stupid. Winning them in Ice Hockey isn’t.

*imagine how unimaginative can a christmas present be and how unimaginative they often are. How easy it would be to shine in that crowd? To make an impression, a mark to your customers memory bank, with a just a tid-bit more though-out and creative gift? It is more about time to be creative and original with the gift than it is about the cost. Next year, be different. Next year, make your mark. Next year, do not buy that wine bottle.
