Middle of the Week Update

No new progress on the stitching to show you this week but I did (FINALLY!) start the top of the very first sunflower!  It’s exciting.  Don’t judge.  After so long only working with blue it’s nice to change to yellow.

I do have those finally crochet blocks to share though, so here they are!

Block 8, my attempt.  The needle gauge was still a little big so the pattern looks more lacey than it was supposed to, but I almost like it better this way.

On my next library adventure I’m planning to pick up a book of crochet patterns so I can try out these new skills and make something that’s actually, you know…something.

Any suggestions on what my first crochet project should be?  I’m thinking afghan…
