Guess who’s hitting the cinema on May 11?
60 years ago Dick Bruna first drew Miffy the Bunny and she’s been on TV since 1992. Soon she’ll be making a special appearance in a cinema near your children, in a movie directed by Hans Perk.
Miffy the Movie takes us on a treasure hunt at the zoo with our detective gang Miffy and her little friends Melanie, Grunty and Snuffy. Their task is to solve the five clues that Mother and Father Bunny have given them one by one. On this fun adventure, Miffy and friends introduce your little ones to all kinds of zoo animals. An exciting trip!
I’m excited for Curly, because he’s a big fan. As you get with children his age, he likes to sing the theme song and tends to do so when he stims.
As with the television series, Miffy the Movie looks colourful, entertaining, lively and adventurous. Every so often your child will be invited to join in the fun when Miffy asks them to help with the treasure hunt.
From birds to giraffes and more, your little ones will enjoy discovering the color animals.
Miffy the Movie is suitable for young children. Tickets for Adults will be at kids prices, $7 while kids under 3 watch for FREE! Plus if you arrive early with your tickets you could be one of the lucky ones to collect a free pair of fuzzy bunny ears that the kids can wear and look like Miffy! About Miffy
Miffy the little white rabbit was born in 1955 in picture books by Dutch artist and writer, Dick Bruna. It’s a great series of books which are now on public television in many countries. Miffy’s stories look at how she and her pals deal with issues that affect the typical preschooler. Thirty books and over 85 million copies later, Miffy hopped onto the big screen in 2013. Miffy turns 60 in 2015.
