Mirror 75/100

Posted on the 02 March 2013 by Infiniteawe @KatieKMcG

I stare into the mirror, watching my other self emerge. Her face twists into an ugly mask, picking apart my imperfections. She thinks I weigh too much and I could stand to lose a few pounds. Maybe, if I throw up enough, I could be like the stick-thin models. She thinks that I should change my whole being. I should be someone who fits in amongst the masses; I should stop being such a freak. She thinks no one will ever care for me and I will always be alone. Maybe, that’s what I deserve. Maybe, the mirror never lies.
