Mother, Interrupted

Hmm, the first day of the school holidays has been a mixed bag. Driving rain, howling winds and terrible tantrums have been interspersed with origami (I need to buy another camera so I can show you our handiwork!), Star Wars light sabre games and watching the Paralympics with open mouths, amazed at the athletes' brilliance, courage and tenacity.
It's left me a *tad* brain-dead so I can't muster the energy tonight to write my follow-up post to my little chat. Sorry! I'll be back with vim and vigour tomorrow. What I can promise is that my post will certainly cover this thought, so beautifully captured by my clever friend, Ness of Marley & Lockyer, in her gorgeous clay dish I recently bought for inspiration.
