Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there! I wanted to pay tribute to my own mother because she is such a driving force in my life and is incredibly supportive of everything I do. Everything I have learned about beauty came from her. She went to modeling school and was in various local fashion shows. so my beauty addiction is genetic. Ever since I can remember, I have watched my mother do her makeup and have always been intrigued by the process. She has also taught me a great deal of life and the important values such has honesty and determination to get through it. The most important lesson she has taught me is independence, and that spans from being an independent thinker to relying on yourself. One of the best compliments anyone can give me is to tell me that I am like her. She is the most generous and kind hearted person I have ever known. She lives in chronic and severe pain because of neuropathy, but she does not let that stop her. She still takes care of everyone and I am just her little sidekick, lol. My mom is and always has been my best friend. She is the first person I go to for advice or just to talk. Without her, I am not even sure this blog would be possible. She is my part time photographer and many of my post ideas are run by her before the final draft appears on my blog. She is really all I have in this world, so I am not sure what I would do without her.
