Today I was reaching hard for inspiration. I found a post that reminded me of something I planned to do. I decided it was past time to make it a reality this year and I am. I really am. I have no clue how my husband and I will get the money to travel to the place we have been saying we wanted to go for over 15 years, but we will. I have said it before…I know, I know. I make excuses. I say we can’t do it because of the kids. I say we can’t leave our dogs even though they will be fine in a kennel. I say that food is necessary. And perhaps paying bills is important. I am sure, that if you want something bad enough, you can make it happen. And that was my motivation for today. I will find a way.
They say that no matter how busy you are that you find a way to make time for what is important to you. This includes travel, friends, spending time with your spouse, whatever. The things that matter to you become more of a priority and less of an idea on the back burner. It’s not that I don’t know who my real friends are, I do. I always have. They make time for me and not excuses. It’s the same with anything in life. Don’t make excuses. I’ve got my idea, and now I have to make it happen.
