My friends at Mountain Warehouse have asked me to tell you about a competition they're running. It's a chance to win a pair of wellies every day it rains this month by simply posting (on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest or the fridge door) a picture of splashing. And while we're on the subject of Mountain Warehouse. I'd like to take a closer look at the snow boots MW sent for Boy Three to try.
The boots were proudly worn on a recent walk and collection of acorns. While it's a bit early for snow, these boots are pretty good all-rounders. They provide a reasonable grip on slippy ground and firm ankle support. As well as being waterproof up to the laces at least - I'm sure we'll test this properly soon enough.
Boy Three will certainly get more wear out of them than simply on snowy days.
