Mummy Mondays Part 1: Magic Bed Review!

As a Mummy Blogger, I am very lucky in that I am sometimes sent some products that I may otherwise not have discovered to take a look at for review purposes. Mummy Mondays part 1: Magic Bed Review!  Sometimes these products are not my cup of tea, sometimes I quite like them - but it is surprisingly rare that I absolutely adore a product (perhaps I'm just hard to impress?!) I am not the kind of person who enjoys having a lot of innovative but useless gadgets around the house, I am very much trying to de-clutter my life at the moment and so I only want to have things around that I actually use and need.  So when I was recently given the chance to review the Magic Bed, I have to admit that I was concerned - I worried that this would be one of those products which sounds great in theory but is actually just another dust-gatherer that I never use. Oh how wrong I was! The Magic Bed is by far and away one of the most incredible products that I have been lucky enough to try! Before I had Tyne, I worked for many years with children in various job roles - one of my positions was as a private nanny.  Working for families who traveled often with young children meant that I had to accompany them, and this meant having to drag around a lot of travel cots - so I speak from years of experience with every imaginable brand of travel cot when I say that they are not the most user-friendly of products! ALL of the travel cots that I have encountered over the years have been clunky, heavy to carry around, a nightmare to put up, an even bigger nightmare to take back down, unattractive looking, and basically rather inconvenient. When thinking about taking Tyne to sleep over anywhere that a cot wouldn't be available to him, the idea of a travel cot alone would be enough to put me off! So to me - the Magic Bed is an absolute god send! The Magic Bed has a very handy bag available, with a shoulder strap - making it very easy to carry around, even with a baby in tow! It is INCREDIBLY light too - trust me, I am not the strongest of people and the fact that this was such a breeze for me to carry speaks volumes! I am also not very good at assembling things - so imagine my surprise when I unzipped the Magic Bed, simply pulled a strap and voila! The Magic Bed popped right up in front of me ready to use - literally just like magic!! You then simply slot the mattress underneath in the handy little pocket provided, and you are good to go! Once you have finished using it, it is just as easy to put away - you just take out the mattress,  fold it down, secure it with the strap and that's it! The Magic Bed is SO simple to use and SO very convenient - and what is even better is that it is so much visually pleasing than other travel cots! The designs available are so lovely! Mummy Mondays part 1: Magic Bed Review!  I cannot speak highly enough of the Magic Bed and I actually can't wait to have a night away somewhere so that we can use it properly - but in the meantime I have it up in my living room as a handy play pen! And it goes neatly away at night time, nice and easy! If you don't believe how simple it is to use, just take a look at the video below   The Magic Bed is available from www.magic-bed.com for £109, or there is the Mini Magic Bed which is suitable for children aged 0-6 months for £59. Competition!  The lovely people at Magic Bed are giving Sparkles & Stretchmarks readers the chance to WIN their very own Magic Bed! All you have to do to enter is complete the Rafflecopter form below! The competition is open to Mainland UK only and will close next Monday 26th August. Good Luck!  a Rafflecopter giveaway
