Music Mondays: Joe Purdy

It has been a couple weeks, but Music Monday is back!!!!This weeks featured artist is....
Joe Purdy!I once read this statement below and I believe it summarizes how I feel about Joe Purdy:
 "As Joe reflects on a memory of an angry moment, or a stolen kiss, his voice becomes startlingly intimate — you can practically feel his breath on your ear. His sweet, folk- flavored melodies, coupled with the warm tones of an old Gibson guitar, is enough to make an audience blush."I would only like to add that his sound is raw, innocent, loving, natural, genuine and soothing. You can't help to be hooked from the moment you first hear his voice.
I first heard Joe Purdy a couple years ago playing in the background of this commercial. I hunted and searched to find out who sang that song and who HE was.I even recruited my hubby and I am so glad I found his music.
Come to find out...one of his songs (The City) was also featured in one of my ALL time favorite shows...Grey's Anatomy!!!
