My 4 Opinions & More

We have all heard the saying "Opinions are like a**holes, everybody has one."  This statement couldn't be more true.  Now, here is where I come in because I can take this to a whole new level.  If opinions and a**holes are one in the same, then that would mean that I have 3 opinions for brothers.
Here's my point folks.
My brothers are all a**holes.  I don't mean this in a derogatory way.  It is more like a term of endearment that I use for them. I can't tell you the number of times that the last words out of my mouth before I hang up the phone with any of them is "... you're an a**hole, later!..."
Seriously, if you were to interview any of my brothers, they would most likely tell you the very same thing. "...Yeah man, my brothers are a**holes..." If you were to interview my dad, he would say the same thing.  My mother's (God rest her soul) response might be a little different.  She would most likely add my Dad to the list.  I can hear her now "... I raised 4 a**holes and married their King!..."
Now, if you were to interview some of my longest and closest friends, you would have to make sure that ears of little people were covered.  They think that we are more than a**holes at times.  I can't print the words these guys would say and/or use to describe us.  None the less, I have no problems with saying that I come from a family of a**holes... or opinions if you like.
Today, it hit me harder than ever before.
Growing up with 3 older opinions certainly wasn't easy and even now, they still insist that they all know what's best for me. This is the first and probably the last time I will admit this, but I WOULDN'T trade them for anything.
My 4 opinions (can't forget dear old dad) are the ones that have always understood my troubles just by looking in my eyes... or listening to the tone of my voice.  They can soothe my fears with a simple hand gesture, often two thumbs up!   They can make me laugh when all I want to do is burst out in a fit of anger.
My closest friends, well... they're a bunch of a**holes too.  Between my original 4 opinions and my closest a**holes... today I realized that they are the type of people that I need to help me survive the day to day trials and tribulations of life... they are the people that I do not know what I would do without!!!
Whenever all my opinions get together, we have a blast, you can say that we have an awesome time with our a**holeness.  Hey?! I wonder if we have a making of a new reality TV show:  Daily Dose of Musings & All His Opinions. 
It's got a nice ring to it, don't you think?
