I have been told by the 'higher powers' that I need to put a disclaimer on my blog.
So, with that said.... here goes;
"... This is my personal weblog. Opinions, thoughts, intentions and/or strategies expressed here represent my own and not necessarily of those in my profession, including my department... my crew... family/friends. Although it may include typical on-call cases, this blog does not offer legal, medical or psychiatric evaluation. While the calls and patients represented on this blog are based on actual incidents, some specifics about each may be altered and/or omitted to maintain confidentiality... to protect those that are innocent and those no-so innocent.
My thoughts and opinion change from time to time... I consider this a necessary consequence of having an open mind. Just in case I say something stupid, it's best to point out that the stupidity is mine, and mine alone. My stupidity. You can't have it! I will not compensate readers in any way whatsoever if you ever happen to suffer a loss of sanity, for any inconvenience/damage because of/ while making use of material in this blog.
I am not always politically correct. I may offend you.
If you feel the need to write a complaint against any material contained in this blog pertaining to the fire fighting services, you may do so by contacting my District Chief. He's expecting your email. However, I will stand by the words I speak to him on a daily basis "...I didn't do it. It wasn't me. You can't prove anything and if you can, it was an accident..." BTW - his in mail box is currently full at the moment, so is mine.
Stroll about this blog at your own risk..."
