Last week, Lotus Salon and Spa in Costa Mesa had a wonderful open house where lots of people were invited out for complimentary services from makeup to getting braids to eyelash extensions, mini facials and blowouts.
Being in LA, I have heard about all these fancy blow out places, but I never actually experience what a blowout was.
Well, after my first blow out with Lotus Salon and Spa, I am completely sold. Prior to last week I was really beginning to hate my hair. It was getting pretty long, snarls were beginning to happen more and more and it was losing it’s shine and luster.
Boy, did my eyes pop open when I realized how awesome a blow out was for my hair:

The back. Straight, blown out, and perfect. A lot of bloggers came up to me that evening telling me, “I had no idea your hair was that long.” Well, it is… the hairstylist “Natalie” who was absolutely great mentioned it was at least 30 inches. I knew my hair was long, but hearing it in numbers was a completely different story.

Just by having this blowout, I felt more pretty, more like a woman, and embraced the evening. The blowout lasted for the next several days, and loved how easy it was to brush through my hair, and how straight it stayed. I can’t wait until my next one.
