I have just received my first check as a published author and, although I am not gonna buy a Mercedes with it, I was very emotional when I held it in my hands. This check represents royalties for my first story Lost in the Seven Worlds for half of the month of March. I am very excited and happy about meeting Sarah Jane Davis, the owner of Crushing Hearts and Black Butterfly Publishing, she is a very devoted adviser/guide/mentor to each of her authors (and there are over 70), which is rare and beautiful.
