I love being a stay at home. Being a mom is the one thing I have always known I was supposed to do with my life. I was never one to have a career plan through school. I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I have tried many different career options and have had a few different jobs since leaving high school. I have also studied. The two things all of my jobs or interests have had in common is health and well-being and helping others. As a nurse in nursing homes or doing home care, as a waitress or a shop assistant, a makeup artist or a massage therapist.
Living on one wage with two children is tough. And as much as I love being at home with B1 and B2 and my husband wants me to be able to be here with them, there have been many times over the last year that we have discussed me going back to work a few days a week. The fact of the matter is though, as I do not have a high paying job to go back to, I would be looking for a low wage job with hours that work around daycare. By the time we were to pay for care for two children, the amount of money I would be earning just doesn’t make it worth it. So we have been hanging in there.
About 4 and a half months ago, a dear friend of mine invited me to a ‘wrap party’. I had no idea what a wrap was or what it did. She filled me in and to say I was skeptical is a massive understatement. She explained how she too had been very skeptical and it had actually taken her friend 3 months to get her to try one. But as soon as she did, she signed up as a distributor. So I went along to this party, not knowing exactly what to expect and still unconvinced. I got amazing and quiet frankly unbelievable results from one wrap after 45 minutes. I could not believe it. I watched with amazement as the other people in the room came out and told us their results.
Fast forward 2 weeks, still not convinced, I agreed to host a party for my friend and help her kick start her new business. Again myself and everyone else saw amazing results. My friend began to tell me a little more about the business side of it all, and showed me how easy it was and how I could do it around the twins and around my hubby’s work. I left with the information and told her I would read through it and think about it. I ended up signing up as a distributor 2 days later. What sold me (other then the fantastic opportunity that lay before me) was that the cost of the business builder kit (containing a folder full of leaflets and order forms and brochures, a website for one month and a box of wraps) cost the same as if I was to buy a box of wraps retail, which I was going to do anyway. And you were not signed up to anything for any amount of time. If I decided in a week I didn’t want to go ahead with it all it had cost me nothing as I was going to buy some wraps anyway. Also, if I then sold those wraps I had made back the money I spent in signing up.
Fast forward to the present day, I am loving every second of it. I am helping so many people get healthy and happy with their bodies. I am doing most of this from my computer while I am at home with my beautiful babies. I am meeting lots of new people and making some great new friends. I am earning lots of products that I am using for myself, so I am getting toned, tightened and firmed on the outside as well as healthier on the inside. And I am contributing to our household income, while doing something I am loving.
I am working my way through the many products our company has, and so far I have not used one that I wouldn’t highly recommend. My mom and my two sisters are using them too and I am loving that I can help them move towards their goals.
