My favs across the day were:
Total Eclipes of the Heart Dance Mix – halfway up Heartbreak Hill when I was fighting with myself to keep running this remix came on. It was by far the most frenetic of songs on my list so absolutely perfect for this point in the run.
Chariots of Fire - yes I did actually put that on my playlist and it quite conveniently came on as I passed the 12km flag with a sprint down the hill into Bondi.
Eye of the Tiger - This was the final song for my run! It came on right as I was heading into the home stretch. Brilliant!
I have listened to this list so many times since and I absolutely love it. It gets me dancing every time and the association with such an awesome day just presses all my happy buttons.

I did a lot of research to choose the perfect songs for this playlist. I played loads of mixes created by other people and googled the shit out of it. I allowed songs that I would never dream of listening to into my world and as it turns out when it comes to running, pop is freaking great.
