Some are actually already checked off, as this list has been in my mind for a few weeks now, but I still have plenty left to do!
We achieved this one much sooner than we thought after our recent trip to Parkdean in Cornwall, which was fantastic! And certainly something we'll be repeating every year!
I want to see more of the country we're from rather than always trying to see other countries, so my plan is to visit a new part of the country every Summer!
2) Visit Peppa Pig World
This is high up on our list of things to do, and we're hoping to tick it off pretty soon as we'd ideally like to go before the Summer holidays start!
3) Go berry picking
I used to love going berry picking as a child, and it's something I definitely want Tyne to enjoy too. To find your nearest Pick Your Own farm, visit www.pickyourown.org
4) Ride the ferry from Exmouth to Brixham
I love being on the water, so the passenger ferry that goes from Brixham harbor to Exmouth has always appealed to me but it's something I've never tried - I want to change that this year!
5) Go to a Summer Village Fete
I love that there are so many little Village and Church Fetes going on in the summer month, we had hoped to go to a nearby one last weekend but it was rained off....so fingers crossed we make it to one!
6) Go to a Carnival
Similar to above I guess but on a bigger scale, I do love a good Carnival! I love seeing the fairgrounds all lit up at night so I'm hoping that Tyne will stay awake long enough for us to do that one evening as I know he'd love the lights and the music!
7) Go to a concert
It's been AGES since I last went to a concert, so that's something I'd really like to try and do this summer. I've been browsing what's on, and it seems that race courses such as Kempton Park have some really good acts on - definitely worth checking out!
I love sitting on the beach in the summer and just making sandcastles, burying my feet in the sand and collecting seashells.
Where we live we are really spoiled for choice with over 30 beaches right on our doorstep...so we have already crossed this one off as we tend to visit the beach every week or two at the moment.
But I would still like to write my Blog name in the sand for photo purposes, so there's still that to do!
9) Go to an outdoor play
I love seeing live theatre, but one thing I have never done is seen an outdoor performance - I know that most years there are productions in nearby Exeter of Shakespeare plays and I would love to go to one this year. Babysitter permitting, of course!
10) Have a BBQ
We recently managed to transform our shabby looking, empty, depressing yard into a much nicer garden space (blog post coming soon!) and that means only one thing to me....BBQ time!!
I LOVE going to BBQ's in the summer and now that we have a nice outdoor area we can finally hold one ourselves!
