Thanksgiving is not only my favorite holiday of the year, but also the most important and significant.
Although you can't avoid the yummy fall food, this day also brings all the gifts, lessons, prayers and graces in one sitting. And, very unlike the Holiday Norman Rockwell paintings, my family dinner table is the modern version of that....plus one important thing: Prayer.
This is also the day that all of us in our family walk around cooking and throwing love and prayer in everything and to everyone we know. It's also the day that we remind ourselves of just how lucky and blessed we are.
Even though I lost Bicha and my father is no longer with us, I have also survived my second surgery, cried through heartaches, learned important financial lessons, and took-on a new journey. And through it all, we are still one big family. Not always happy, not always in love with each-other, but always together.
This year, maybe because I am a bit more emotional than most, I can't let the busyness of the day go by without stopping by this space to say THANK YOU to all of my blog readers near and far.
There are days that I ignore this space and focus on life instead of doing what I love to do, which is to create. But through it all, you have not only stuck around, but made your presence known.
Your energy and support guides my creativity and propels me to continue to do what I do.
I'm grateful that you choose to read my musings and share my love of all things pretty.Wishing you and yours a Thanksgiving filled with grace and love.
