Ok so let’s talk about passion. I have a passion for having new things, feeling in style and spending absolutely as little as possible.
I’m not talking Target, I’m talking the 70% off sale at Target. But really I’m not even talking Target since I live in Italy and Target doesn’t even exist here! Which means I have to get VERY creative to satisfy my fashion needs and my budget restrictions.
So I would like to talk about a little concept that I invented called Fashion Foresight™. This is how I think of shopping. What can I buy now and use next season?
I analyze the trends that have come out of the fashion shows for the following season and base my purchases on what I will be wearing in a year, not in a week. This way I capitalize on the cheapness of the deals to reach my maximum fashion feel-good potential.
I also use this concept to rework what I already have in my closet so I don’t buy something that is similar to what I already have.
I don’t think you need to be an expert to use a little creativity and passion to make Fashion Foresight™ purchases, you just need to be relatively cheap but love to dress!
