New Trend, Old Trend

Hello! Finally another new post! How are you all? I managed to survive throughout the week from the countless amounts of nearly falling over from the snow..
The other day I found these lovely white frilly socks, some people might have already bought some from Topshop, it seems to be a big trend for every girl out there. I've seen a lot of people from Instagram that have them and quite frankly I was secretly in love and wanted a pair so much but because I don't particularly like short socks, I didn't want to splash out £8 on socks I probably will just wear around the house.

I also didn't have time to take a good quality photo of the socks so I've just used a photo from the Asda website

No-one would have thought to have looked in Asda's children clothes aisle where they sell socks is that correct? Being the odd child I am, I did.It was quite fortunate actually as I spotted a few pairs of frilly socks in a pack which were only £4 for 5 pairs which is obviously a very VERY good price. They didn't have any adult sizes, of course, and I didn't know what their maximum size went up to so I bought the biggest size they had which was 12.5- 3 (children sizes). I'm normally a size 6 and doubting that it would fit me, I bought it anyway as it did look comparable to the size of my feet. If you're sat in front of the laptop thinking, where is this going?Well the socks did fit and the heel part does match the heel part of my foot so if you're like me and not really a short socks person but want to buy frilly socks then take a trip to Asda or buy them online here, as sizes can be deceiving... Thank you for reading, also just a little note; I have decided to post maximum two posts every week as I am constantly busy and never have enough time nowadays to post consecutive posts (unfortunately, sorry)
