As much as we love shooting weddings, we also cherish the weekends we have off to go do what normal people do on the weekends, like go out of town and enjoy a few theme parks. Friday night was an the annual Night Of Joy that Disney World hosts where they shut down the park and open it up to Christian worship artists to play all around the park. It’s awesome because you get the best of both worlds, awesome concerts and rollercoasters! We went specifically to see one of Stephen and I’s favorite artist, Jeremy Camp, and one of his favorites, Skillet. Both were awesome shows there at Cinderella’s Castle. We even stood in the rain waiting for Jeremy, but like most things in life, it was worth the wait (and wet). Skillet ended their night with an amazing firework show that accompanies most of their concerts.
The following day we had a 2-park ticket to visit Universal Studios (where my awesome cousin Kellie works) and Islands of Adventure. We really didn’t do anything at Islands of Adventure other than visit Harry Potter World and drink “butter beer.” Neither of us are Harry Potter fans but after all the hoopla we’ve heard about the new ride, we couldn’t resist testing it out. And ok, after seeing how cool the ride and the world was, and how yummy butter beer was, I admit, it makes me want to actually see the movies now with a HP marathon day. (We’ll see….)
Anyways, we Instagrammed our whole journey, and thought we would put it together here in a college to share our random musings from the trip!
