Nine Weeks // Ten Weeks

With the Thanksgiving holiday, I didn't get around to doing a nine week post, so I'm doing both nine and ten this week!

During her ninth week, Rilynn really started to "talk" a lot more. Although it's just noises and squeals, she loves being very vocal. She went to her 2 month appointment and was 25" tall and weighed 14 lbs and 9 oz. She is in the 99th percentile for her height and the 97th for her weight. We ended up having to go to Old Navy to get her a ton of new clothes.
It was such a blessing because we were able to get her a ton of things on clearance that were only $1-2 each. With money being tight we can't really shop much, but she literally had no clothing. I wasn't expecting her to be in 6 months already!
She had to get her shots at the doctor, which was the saddest, most awful scream I have ever heard her make. I honestly started tearing up myself. Her legs were really sore the rest of the day, but my the next morning she was back to normal. We had a great first Thanksgiving with her and some of our friends. She decided to sleep 75% of the day, which was a nice treat for us. Besides that, the week was pretty low key. Here are some photos from her ninth week:

This week Rilynn has been modeling for the Winter Lookbook here on the blog. It's been so funny to watch her "work the camera". We also started noticing that Rilynn LOVES being on her changing table. We don't know why, but every time we lay her down she giggles and dances. That's another new thing...this week she started dancing. It's really funny to watch. She loves when we clap and will start to kick her feet.
She had to move from size 1 to size 2 diapers this week after an unfortunate amount of accidents while in disposables. She had a few poop explosions and I realized her disposables were way too small on her. I've also noticed she has been very gassy. Not to the point where it bothers her and she cries - she is just a tooting machine! She uses her eyes a lot more and will stare you down or roll them at you.
She slept her first 7 hour stretch this week! I was so scared when I woke up in the morning and it was light out, but she was fine. It has only happened once, but she is at least consistently sleeping 6 hours at a time, so I'm hoping 7 is right around the corner. Here are some funny videos and other pictures from this week!
