If not for entertainment/ or should I say the psycho mood of the movie, watch it for the sake of the fashion, please do that for me. I love that movie in every single way even though I usually hate drama movies and am much more familiar with those pointless comedy movies or romantic comedies which are like the cherry on the top where you just sit, knowing everything about everyone, no deep point to think about and all you gotta do is just make some popcorn or grab a huge ice cream jar just for the sake of the effect. Getting back to the fashion part, because in the end that's what we're all here for, I love all the outfits (except for most shoes) in that movie and looking at this picture, I realized that the use of too much white is a one whole ass of paradox because all those seemingly positive girly things (notice the flowers, flowers all the way) induce the feeling of loneliness and depression.And no, it's not because of the faces. Just watch the movie and you know what I'm talking about anyway.
Another reason to watch - Kirsten Dunst. Her fashion in and out of movies is just incredible. But not to make this post a fricken movie advertisement, let's just pretend we've been talking about the floral patterns and white all the way through. My dress is white but I'll probably have to draw some flowers on to really make it the Virgin Suicides. And dye my hair blonde (but that would look just ugly). Make this summer outfits rock. Make it floral and light tones please. Just for the sake of summer time.
