Okay so I work at a five star restaurant…and I average about 100$ to
150$ a night and its pretty easy work. BUT GOD DAMN their are some
pretty dumb people out there. Might I add, some real assholes as well.
In my opinion, if you plan on dining out , especially if your going to
spend an average of 100$ , TIP 20% or more. SHIT. is that four dollars
really that big of a fucking deal. Did you really have to round up the
cents so that your debit card balance online is exactly 295.00$. So i
might not be a class clown act at my tables, I dont tend to entertain
because serving tables is not my fucking DREAM JOB. But I am polite,
talkative, and respectful. And anything they need I am there to help
without any attitude what so ever. I am sick and tired of cheap asses
making me weeded for a fucking 10$ tip on a 120$ tab. REALLY?! like
REALLY?! Do you people understand this is how we make a living. we
make a lousy 4,23 an hour, and you think I didn’t have to tip anyone
out tonight? wow that ten dollars is totally going to go towards my
college fund. Cause those 5 coke refills was so worth my fucking time.
If your going to go out to eat , have some respect for your servers.
Most of us are working through college, or supporting our family. And
we have to deal with 6890485 personalities a night plus difficult ppl
on top of that.
Oh and one other thing , leave your 1 to 4 year old kid at home so
that I dont have to babysit on top of serving. because I dont have
time for it. AND the stupid highchair is always in the way. OK im done
venting. All the servers out there im SURE you understand my
frustrations
