I have been mulling over this post for quite some time. I am a keep-people-at-an-arm's-length kind of girl, and this goes well beyond arm's length. I have in fact dreaded this because it now makes me accountable. It holds my words for all too see and remember. I do not like posts about working out, eating better, or drinking special shakes. Why? Because they seem to taunt me, mock me, if you will.
My inner thoughts:
"Oh I cannot wait to see what new work out move you've come up with. It's one more I know I won't do myself. I won't try that healthy recipe because I work 40 hours blah, blah. Oh and that gym you spend $40 for. I won't go there because I don't have $40 to waste on something I will never use."
Well, this ends now. No more excuses. I am not doing this for you, or my husband, or the hundreds of other women in America who are overweight. I am doing this for me. Because at the end of the day, me is all that matters when it comes to being healthy. I have tried work out plans, diet plans, diet tricks, anything and everything. I have spent money, time, and my mind trying to lose weight and be healthy. I am 26 and I am not getting any younger or healthier for that matter. I am angry, I am mortified, I am tired, and I am done.
I am now starting myself on my own 90 day challenge. I write this to you and for you all because I have to start somewhere. I have to start here because here I care. Let me be real with you.
How many outfit posts have I done? 0.
How many full body pictures (excluding wedding photos) have you seen on this blog? 0.
How many fun/adventurous activities have I posted about? 0.
How many Vlogs have you seen? 0.
You want to know why? Because I am not comfortable enough in my own skin to do any of these things. How is that living? How is that loving myself? It's not! I am posting the logistics of this 90 day challenge for you all to see. It does not involve special shakes, expensive meal plans, or P90X (seriously.). This will involve a lot of work, effort, planning, and formulating new habits. At the end of this 90 day challenge, I will put my updated stats and hopefully, A FULL BODY PICTURE IN A REALLY CUTE OUTFIT! :) Who's with me?

If you think this challenge is for you, then set one up for yourself. Have your own goals and come up with ways you can cut out the bad and let in the good. If you are struggling at all with how you look or you just aren't feeling good in general, think about doing this 90 day challenge. Post about it and be accountable. I will update you all in 30 days! Wish me luck!
*P.S. Thank you to all of those bloggers who do post about getting fit and being healthy. I really do get inspired and will refer to your blogs for tips. I was simply making a point above, but I really do enjoy heatlh/fitness blogs. Just wanted to clear that up!
