Belakangan ini saya tertarik dengan dunia Arab khususnya negara kecil nan kaya bernama Dubai. Why? Please read this. So, tadi sore saya pergi ke cabang Haji La Tunrung di Jl. Monginsidi buat beli dirham 100AED padahal sebenarnya saya rencana beli 40AED. Yang bikin saya tambah nyesell kok saya mau aja beli 100AED dengan kurs Rp.3150 per 1AED padahal di Bali Maspitjinra AMC matok kurs Rp.3000 per 1AED. Untungnya uang yang saya bawa tadi tidak sampai Rp315.000 jadinya saya cuma beli 90AED. Kalau saya beli di Bali Maspitjinra AMC saya palingan belinya dengan Rp300.000.
So, what’s the point of buying AED banknote? It’s just one part of my plans to work to Dubai. I think I should gather AED banknote little by little from now on, because I believe in the future its conversion rate will be higher than today. Moreover, it’s likely that Dubai will be “Singapore” of GCC whose population is full of abundance. I extrapolate Dubai will be headquarter of business world that every business is controlled from Dubai.
I know it’s not really necessary to save AED, because as eligible resources I have found that there are many money changer in Dubai. So no need to save AED beforehand to work there. However, back to my reason above, I was eager to have it although it risked me financially a little.
