Today a very special friend, Emily, introduced my son and I to the brilliant Godstone Farm. Not only is she a ray of sunshine, but she currently lives in the sunshine state of California and so our time with her is precious. Almost as precious as her-gorgeous-self (awwwww!) We even had glorious sunshine all day too.
It was his first time to a farm and at 15months he was very excited and enjoyed every moment – everything from the pigs and goats to the chickens, rabbits and shetland ponies. The enormous play area with sandpits and slides galore. Emily used to visit this exact farm when she was a little girl and it certainly made me want to be a little kid again! Such a great day outside in the fresh air and exploring.
I’ve crudely collaged some of our photos together to create my heart art today and just want to thank her for being a special, fun rock of a friend and super fun aunty to our boy.
