OK - I Did It Too! (The 12 Days, That Is)

Harangued on Twitter by Potty Mummy and Hot Cross Mum, I have risen to the challenge and done my own 12 days of Christmas in the style of Hot Cross Mum's. 
Since the themes of boys/wee and sicky kids are now taken (see above blogs), my theme is house-owning problems. Disclaimer (should I ever try to sell my house) - this is in part pure fiction and my house would pass any inspection any day of the week.


The 12 Days of Home-owners' Christmas
On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me, a house that’s too big for me. (OK, he didn't actually give me the house; my name is on the mortgage too)
On the 2^nd day of Xmas my true love gave to me, two broken door locks and a house that’s too big for me.
On the 3^rd day of Xmas my true love gave to me three knackered lamps, two broken door locks and a house that's too big for me.
On the 4^th day of Xmas my true love gave to me four calling workmen, three knackered lamps, two broken door locks and a house that's too big for me.
On the 5^th day of Xmas my true love gave to me fivedrywall dings (Hold that note...) four calling workmen, three knackered lamps, two broken door locks and a house that's too big for me.
On the 6^th day of Xmas my true love gave to me six doors– a-sticking, fivedrywall dings (Hold that note...) four calling workmen, three knackered lamps, two broken door locks and a house that's too big for me.
On the 7^th day of Xmas my true love gave to me 7 carpets fraying, six doors– a-sticking, fivedrywall dings (Hold that note...) four calling workmen, three knackered lamps, two broken door locks and a house that's too big for me.
On the 8^th day of Xmas my true love gave to me  8  floors-a-creaking,  7 carpets fraying, six doors– a-sticking, fivedrywall dings (Hold that note...) four calling workmen, three knackered lamps, two broken door locks and a house that's too big for me.
On the 9^th day of Xmas my true love gave to me  9 ladies cleaning, 8  floors-a-creaking,  7 carpets fraying, six doors– a-sticking, fivedrywall dings (Hold that note...) four calling workmen, three knackered lamps, two broken door locks and a house that's too big for me.
On the 10^th day my true love gave to me 10 walls –a seeping, 9 ladies cleaning, 8  floors-a-creaking,  7 carpets fraying, six doors– a-sticking, fivedrywall dings (Hold that note...) four calling workmen, three knackered lamps, two broken door locks and a house that's too big for me.
On the 11^th day of Xmas my true love gave to me 11 Tilers tiling, 10 walls –a seeping, 9 ladies cleaning, 8  floors-a-creaking,  7 carpets fraying, six doors– a-sticking, fivedrywall dings (Hold that note...) four calling workmen, three knackered lamps, two broken door locks and a house that's too big for me.
On the 12^th day of Xmas my true love gave to me 12 plumbers plumbing, 11 Tilers tiling, 10 walls –a seeping, 9 ladies cleaning, 8  floors-a-creaking,  7 carpets fraying, six doors– a-sticking, fivedrywall dings (Hold that note...) four calling workmen, three knackered lamps, two broken door locks and a house that's too big for me.
