E.I.E.I.O I am sure you are aware, especially those who also Mum's blog, my Mum and Dad own a small holding. We have a few animals; geese, ducks, chickens, turkeys and pigs. We are at the time of year where all of the animals are broody and some of the eggs we have been incubating have already hatched, which is exciting. We have also bought some piglets, two welsh x Hampshire, and ten saddle backs. The cross breeds are about fourteen weeks now, and are big! They have also started, in their excitement for their food, nipping so my legs are regularly bruised! The saddlebacks are only seven weeks and they are the cutest things. They are still really shy so I haven't managed to get that many photographs of them, unfortunately. It has been a very exciting few weeks though, in terms of baby animals, even this evening we have had a duckling hatch. I am looking forward to keeping you updated on their progress. The geese weren't happy!
