Oldie but Goodie Denim Featuring Bellast.com

Hi guys! I've been gone for more than a week. My apologies.
Update in my life? I decided to revive my lookbook. This is mainly because I decided to discipline myself to dress better. I'm so sloppily dressed most of the time lately, it's starting to be a vice. I guess I fooled myself into thinking that make-up is enough.
So for this look, I went for a simple denim dress that I thrifted!  

There are a lot of fashion bloggers out there but one of the few that I truly follow is Keit from Beauty in Insanity. I love her sense of humor but more than that, I admire how she mixes and matches pieces that you never thought would look good together. I love how her looks are edgy and daring, but are actually wearable in public. And she gets some of her stuff from thrift shops!

So after a year of avoiding the ukay-ukay (because the last time I was there I got a really bad flu), I braved the old dusty and crowded place and thrifted again. 
I actually had to have this one resized. It's ironic how the tailoring is more expensive than the actual cost of the dress. But still after that, and despite the fact that I've been gaining a lot of weight lately, it's still too loose on me. So then I had to resort to this wardrobe staple: a thick brown belt.

I decided to keep this one more girly and went for dainty accessories instead of chunky ones.


Whenever I don't feel like wearing huge pieces of accessories, I normally go with small ones with interesting details.
It's not a secret that I love cats.
