On Your Shoulder: Beautiful bags from Nepal
My pal Janis, yoga teacher extraordinaire, rang me up the other day. "Come on, let's have coffee, I've got something to show you."

Intrigued, I watched as she opened a huge bag to reveal loads and loads of beautiful leather and fabric bags - all shapes and sizes. From clever 'bum-bag' styles for travellers to proper, take anywhere and still be smart, handbags, there were plenty to drool over.

Janis spends lots of time visiting Nepal - I suppose it's her spiritual home. She already has a thriving business importing yoga and meditation products

She gave me one of the bags to try out. It's beautifully put together with the kind of soft leather and solid stitching that only gets better as you use it.

I love my On Your Shoulder bag and use it just about every day. What Janis spotted when she saw these bags was a clever combination of something that is hand-made and authentic, yet still practical and stylish.
