One Reason I Love Utah.

Posted on the 25 June 2013 by Mikidemann @mikidemann
I really love my home state of Utah. I enjoy living here for many reasons. One thing that I have come to  enjoy a lot about being from Utah is the "small town" vibe. Maybe it's not Utah and maybe it's actually because I grew up, went to elementary, middle school and high school all within a very close distance. Wherever I go there are people that I know. Read that last sentence out loud. It rhymed.
One Reason I Love Utah.
KeyPink Heart: I am currently here  and it's the city I lived in high school
Blue Heart: Where I went to Middle School and ElementaryOrange Heart: Where I work :)
This all dawned on me last night, it was about midnight and I was in the middle of watching a really intense scene of "The Walking Dead" and Indiana gave me the dreaded look. The look where you know if you don't get up right that second then you are going to have a puddle of pee on the floor. I was in Jared's Tee and some undies, so I shimmy on some sweat pants and push Indie out the front door.
Indie sees a couple walking down the street and starts barking and running toward them with his head low and his butt high in the air. He wiggles so much that he can barely handle it when he is that excited. This couple sat on the sidewalk and Indie started to jump on them and to kiss their faces. Luckily they seemed to like it, so like any good parent I just let it happen as I joined them indian style on the sidewalk across the street from my home. We started to talk about Indie and his kissing styles, when the man asks, "Hey, is your name Miki Loveless?" I said "Yes... and how do we know each other?". Turns out that we rode the bus together to the same Middle School. I barely recognized him since that was only about 10 years ago. That didn't stop us from catching up though. Jared came outside, we did introductions and proceeded to sit on the side walk until 1am. We talked about dogs, bunnies, music, houses, old friends, and mutual friends. It was seriously the perfect summer night. I enjoyed every second.
Running into old friends at Midnight is One Reason I Love Utah.Does this happen in your home town?
