This morning I spent ten minutes looking for my car keys.
Ten. Minutes. Of my life.
I will never get those ten minutes back. I turned my purse upside down and emptied the contents all over the kitchen counter. I may have cursed a little.
You know where I finally found them? Inside my shoe. A shoe that I had removed from my purse last night. On the floor of my bedroom. Under a scarf.
So then I left my house in a hurry. Flustered. With unfinished makeup (which happens on most days).
And then I was late to work. And I got really, really hot.
And THIS.
This is why I need to declutter my entire house this weekend. This is why I need to declutter my life. And declutter my schedule. And my pantry. And my computer desktop.
So I can FIND things. And SEE things. And have SPACE. Space to make things and create things and be inspired to write brilliant things (or not-so-brilliant things).
Because I refuse to ever spend ten minutes looking for my car keys again.
Wish me luck. And say a prayer for Brett.
The end.
