It's Christmas time! And I'm quite late with writing this post, because December has, as as it always does, flown! But seriously, this December has been CRAZY FAST! (I know I say that about every month!). But I'm determined to share a few photos of our Christmas home decor before it goes past actual Christmas itself! We tend to have similar Christmas decor each year as the tree fits perfectly in the same spot each year and we love how cosy it makes the house feel!
One of my most favorite things about decorating for Christmas is, the boys getting involved. I let them just completely decorate the tree as they wish, as I am just so happy that they want to help with it. We have no real theme to it because the best sort of baubles to hang on a tree are the ones with memories attached. We have baubles that they boys have made at school from years ago, we have Lego baubles (since we're a Lego-mad family), we have peronsliased baubles with our names on and our latest are one I picked up on our trip to Disneyland earlier this year which features the Eiffel tower and Marie the cat from the film the Aristocats. I also have a new Hampton Court Palace tree decoration. Hampton Court is one of my most favorite places to visit, as it is the former home of Henry VIII and I am a big fan of Tudor History.
I love that we have a woodburner in our living room as obviously asides from being practical with it being so cold outside, it also just adds to the cosy festive vibe!
We like to change our sofa cushion covers to festive ones!
I mangled to snap this lovely photo of the boys - it only took 50 attempts and a chocolate bribe, haha!
The Christmas scene on the TV is from Sky, if you're looking for something similar just search 'Christmas scenes'. Netflix have a lovely crackling fireplace one too!

My new Hampton Court palace tree decoration - I got it on Etsy and I love it!
On the TV is the crackling fireplace scene that you can find on Netflix!
And that is us ready for Christmas! I just love how cosy everything feels this time of year!
