Holding Feather Gently
Our cousin’s were in town from Texas this week and before we headed out on vacation they stopped by. Last year they had SO MUCH FUN playing with our chickens, especially Feather because she is the perfect size of a little kid and is more than content to be held.
The two little ones, helped pick up eggs, checked out our other baby chicks, and asked all kinds of questions. We sent them on their way (headed to northern Michigan on a camping trip) with a full dozen “Feather” eggs. *Feather eggs are small eggs laid by our bantams and other mini chicken.*
