Our First Blog Date

Posted on the 12 March 2012 by Mikidemann @mikidemann
Good Monday! I have a bittersweet relationship with Mondays. It seem like on Mondays my blog reader is out of control, there are like 200 blogs posts that I need to catch up on. It will probably take me all week! My blog BFF Sierra and I decided it would be fun to get to know each other a bit better. We may or may not have gone onto match dot com and found out some of the best questions to ask to get to know your date, because that is normal for two girls to do yes? totally.
I want you all to get to know my date, Ms. Sierra. Here are here answers, and if you all want to see mine I suggest you head to her blog and read about me. There is one hilarious story on her blog that I had to tell about one time when Jared fell in the mud. Oh the memories. I am laughing to myself like a creep just thinking about it.
Onto Sierra:
Who has been the biggest influence in your life? This question is exponentially difficult for me to answer. I have been changed, affected, and moved by so many people. But, interestingly enough, the first person who comes to my mind is my older sister, Mckenna. She has been through hell and back and yet, always seems to get through. She has a strength that is immeasurable. She, also, is always willing to take and give advice whenever I want it. Plus, she's really pretty :)
What kinds of things really make you laugh?Oh my goodness. Where to begin?! My friends all make fun of me on a daily basis because I laugh so much. Like too much. But, most recently, what I have been quoting (maybe way too often?) are these videos on my blog. So.freaking.hilarious.I also have a very sick sense of humor. As in, I think bodily functions are hilarious. So ridiculous, I know. What's your favorite place in the entire world? My cabin in Oregon at Crescent Lake. Hands down. I have such fond memories of playing, swimming, learning how to ski and wakeboard on my grandparent's old boat, and tanning on the dock. It also included late night conversations, intense card games, and hilarious skits. I would kill to go back at this exact moment. ooooh the memories.Favorite movie of all time? Why?Asking me my favorite movie is like asking me my favorite kind of sunshine. I love films. I find that I continuously get lost in a film. But two of my favorite movies that I have mostly recently watched is You've Got Mail. I love it. I love every second of it. I could rematch that movie over and over and over again. That screenwriter=genius.
What's your biggest goal in life right now? Starting my classroom! I am a first year teacher and I have to decorate an entire classroom, plan a curriculum and mentally prepare myself for 30 students. Yikes. Oh, and we cannot forget marriage. Dur. I am a single gal in Provo, Utah. Ya dig? (Ladies, hook a sista up!)What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday?Blogging. duh ;) I'm just kidding. 1. Sleep. 2. sleep. 3. sleep.Do you have any pet peeves?People who drive slow in the fast lane (cough utah cough), people who smack their gum, people who are too afraid to act silly because they think they are too cool. Should I continue? :)What was your family like growing up?Um, loud. And big. I am the baby of five children. And we are Ainge's. Let's just say that I fell asleep to yelling and piano playing every single night. But, they're great. Ya know? What were you like as a kid?I was very intense. I had to have a routine. I liked to be around my family; I didn't really like strangers. I had an extreme imagination. I loved to tell stories and play with my toy cars in my cubby for hours. I loved to be outside, riding my bike, swimming, etc. I laughed a lot. But I screamed a lot too. That's where the singing comes in now :)Nickname?Sisi (see-see). My brother is a year and a half older than me and he tried to say my name. It came out as Sisi. Sassy Pants. They called me that at girls camp first year. And I think it's fitting. Don't you? What do I hate most about the dating process?Um, all of it? Haha. The games, the interviews, the awkward boys who pick you up 30 minutes late and don't even take you to dinner so you are starving and you are just trying to make it through so you can go home and go to sleep but than he wants to watch a movie and then he tries to cuddle.....yea....That's me. In a nutshell. Never a boring day in the life of Sierra. I find that I am running every which way, but I am happy. So that's good, right? I love that. Thanks for reading, y'all. Come stop by! Seriously. I will take you places you have never read before...just kidding....except, not really...xo,Sierra
