Darcie had a nice little surprise in store for her last week, she received, a much wanted, scooter! Darcie was very kindly sent the Oxelo B1 Scooter for children aged 2-4 (available from Decathlon) to review and boy was she excited. She has been saying for the past three months how Santa was going to bring her one for Christmas, so you can imagine the excitement when it arrived early!
The Oxelo B1 Scooter has been designed specifically for children aged 2-4 to help them get to grips with learning how to balance. This is a three wheeled scooter which is the type of scooter you want to go for when little ones are involved. It's features include;
- Stability - its wheelbase and wheel angle will help to build confidence.
- Flexibility - its handlebar can be adjusted to 2 heights to suit your child's age.
- Customisation - there are a variety of coloured shells that you can fix straight onto the frame.
- Value - this fantastic scooter is priced at a very reasonable £22.99.
Whilst Darcie may have no fear when it comes to scooter's I was a little sceptical that the scooter may feel cheap or a little unsafe. However, the scooter is of fantastic quality and really has been designed with younger children in mind. I particularly like the angled wheels which really makes the scooter feel sturdy and helps aids balance. I also think the base is nice and wide too, which is another well thought out design for younger children who are novice scooters.
Overall I couldn't of been any more pleased with the product. I have loved watching Darcie grow in confidence and everywhere we have gone she has told people about her yellow scooter! What's more is that when she has outgrown it her little brother will be able to use it too due to it's unisex design. Perfect!
Does your little ones love scooters?
