Perfect Skin in 1, 2, 3 Steps: Johnson & Johnson Clean & Clear Review

Posted on the 07 August 2013 by Kinderhandbtips
So, I recently told you guys my skin had been breaking out like crazy the past month.  I don't quite know what triggered it off to be honest.  But my skin had been going wayyyyy out of control; blackheads and tiny bumps under my skin.  My skincare routine was ready for an overhaul.
So last Saturday I popped into Sainsbury's and browsed for a new skincare line of product's.

I finally decided on the Johnson & Johnson Clean & Clear line, more an impulse-buy as I was short on time, it said it was for blemish-prone skin and the price was reasonable.
As soon as I got home, I couldn't wait to take my makeup off and use the product's as my face was in need of some serious TLC!
What I purchased:

Clean & Clear Blackhead clearing scrub
They say "The exfoliating micro-beads clear away dead skin to unclog your pores, then the blackhead fighting ingredient penetrates deep into pores, helping to prevent blackheads from forming. The formula also contains soothing extracts. Use it twice a day and you’ll start to notice the difference from Day 1.

With aloe vera gel, and chamomile flower extract, Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Daily Scrub contains a unique quick break-up complex to fight blackheads from day 1.

The exfoliating micro-beads clear away dead skin to unclog your pores, then the blackhead fighting ingredient penetrates deep into pores, helping to prevent blackheads from forming. The formula also contains soothing extracts. Use it twice a day and you’ll start to notice the difference from Day 1!."

I say:  When I first picked this up and read the information and ingredients on the back,  I was skeptical it would work from day 1.  I thought to myself I don't think so.  But if it takes two weeks for me to see an improvement I will be happy.
I am literally SHOCKED at how good  and quickly this has worked.  I know it says from day 1, but all products give out claims that are rarely true and highly exaggerated (eg. lashes upto four times the length L'oreal?  I don't think so) that I didn't think I would see a difference for a good while.
Upon application,  this smells nice and pleasant (hard to describe the scent to be honest....it may be a chamomile smell), is a lovely creamy consistency with little beads that very gently get to work on unclogging my pores.  It spreads nice and evenly, and rinses off well.  My skin feels very clean,  but certainly not stripped.  I use this twice a day, and follow up with:
Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Sensitive Lotion
They say "Clean & Clear deep-cleansing oil-fighting sensitive formula effectively cleanses and helps prevent spots.  The  formula cleanses your skin gently but effectively to remove everyday build-up of dirt, oil and grease."
You can use this as either a cleanser, or as a toner after cleansing.   I use it as a toner, to tighten and tone my skins' pores.
Again, this works brilliantly!  Love it.  It does not strip my skin, yet my skin feels lovely and clean and refreshed!
I'm not sure what the ingredient is in these products,  but they have a lovely cooling element to them, that when you apply it to your face you feel SO refreshed! (Abit like applying a minty toothpaste or lipgloss to your face, without the minty smell!).
I then follow with the final product that I purchased:

Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturiser
They say "Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturiser moisturises your skin to leave it feeling soft as well as helping to prevent spots and blemishes.
The oil-free formula moisturises without clogging pores, while a proven spot-fighting ingredient helps prevent spots and blemishes leaving skin feeling smooth, soft, and beautiful every day."

I say:

This is wonderfully light and fresh on the skin.  Again it feels so refreshing with that cooling property about it.  It's a lightweight moisturiser, comparable to Olay's original moisturiser.

I've only been using these three products since Saturday evening, and for a product to work SO effectively is such a short amount of time,  I just HAD to rave and do a blog post all about them.  I am SO impressed!  Definitely a keeper and firm favourite,  that's for sure.
Any cons?
To be honest I really can't find any!
Rating
I would rate these products 10/10 and recommend for blemish, oily, an blackhead prone skin types.
