Personal commitment, key to success

In the global society in which we live, it is not difficult to find people that are alergic to the committment. Commitment, ties you up, links your way to other person´s way, or other idea, or cause for which we commit. When we commit ourselves to something we lose our freedom. Or so it seems...

Actually, committment is what makes a person direct his life in one direction. Life is election, and making elections often meanso to renounce. Besides, if we do not choose, life will choose instead of us. Time passes by, like ir or not, and this implies an initial election: to use it or not.

Commitment is a necessity. A necessity that can scare, but a necessary necessity for the fulfillment of our lives.

When someone commits himself, he does not lose his freedom. Makes it effective. Freedom only exists if you make use of it. What is our freedom for, if we waste time without choosing, without committing ourselves? The people that are really free are the ones that commit themselves to something that is worth.

This is why I think that personal commitment is a key to success. If you want to be successful you need to maintain your commitment to achieve your goals.

Do you want to be successful? Make a commitment?

In my personal and professional life, the things that demanded more commitment from me have been the ones that more satisfactions have reported to me, from the personal and professional point of view. With this, I do not mean that these have resulted all in success, but have lead me to be satisfied with what I am achieving.

My personal commitment is to make myself a better person (and also a better professional)

My commitment with others is to help others to be better human beings.

My professional commitment is to work to help others in his personal and professional life.

This is why I see commitment as something essential to be successful in our personal and professional lives.
