PhotoBooth Play

Yesterday was a “play” day for me.  Every once in a while we need one of those.  I chose to play on my iPad and search for new apps and experiment with ones I already had.  I opened up the Photo Booth app on my iPad and took these photos of my always willing subject, ME! 

(Self-portraiture is a good way to experiment because you always have “you” wherever you go!)  In fact, UrbanMuser has an ongoing series called “in the picture” and you’re invited to join in following the themed prompts each month.  Find out more info here. 
These are straight out of Photo Booth with no editing.
I combined two of the images using the Sketch Club app (layering one on top of the other and adjusting the blending mode).  I then played around with it in the Filtermania app and came up with the final photo art below.
