Recently, I had a great haul from CVS, & this Physicians Formula Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow & Liner Nude Eyes Palette was one of the gems I found. While I haven’t tried the Naked Palette from Urban Decay, I heard this was comparable & definitely much more affordable at $12.79. Here is my review.
{I’m not smiling b/c you wouldn’t be able to see the eyeshadow }
Wearing Shade #1 {from the top} on brow bone, Shade #4 on lid & Shade #3 on crease.
Pros
1. You can wear shadows dry for a more demure effect, or wet for a more dramatic effect {I am wearing wet}.
2. Nude shades that complement every skin tone.
3. GORGEOUS pink & black lace packaging.
4. The palette tilts from left to right which is a surprising, yet awesome feature.
5. Shadow lasted all day after enduring rain & a runny allergy eye with my e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow Primer.
6. Gorgeous shimmer.
7. I may be interpreting this wrong, but it seems to me they put the colors in order in “sets” with the skinny strip being the crease shade.
8. Pretty affordable for a large palette, especially if you can get on sale/use coupons.
9. Hypoallergenic, fragrance & paraben free.
Cons
1. With the colors being stacked on top of each other, it was difficult to “stay between the lines”, especially if using your finger or another brush/tool other than the provided one.
2. I may end up neglecting some of my other shadows because I’m a sucker for shimmery, nude shades.
Verdict
Since I haven’t tried the Naked Palette from Urban Decay, I can’t say if this is just as good, but if you’re looking for a shimmery nude palette without breaking the bank, this is worth a try.
