Tonight, the third and final presidential debate takes place.
Hosted by Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida the debate will focus on foreign policy. Although, I’m sure both candidates will stray more than a little from the designated topic.
You can also be certain that, along with pointing out what the other candidate has not done (or mismanaged), the two will debate Rose Garden semantics, the actual Libya situation might be discussed and Osama bin Laden’s name will be mentioned (a few dozen times).
Another certainty, this blogger’s mind will be elsewhere.
Despite a masterful two-game lead in the NLCS, 2WC’s beloved St. Louis Cardinals have allowed the incredibly resilient San Francisco Giants to force a winner-takes-all game 7. And as fate would have it, that game will be played tonight, right in the middle of the final presidential debate.
While we promise we’ll keep you updated on the highlights of tonight’s debate (Check out our Twitter feed here: The2Women), we may be a little distracted. Also, the Cardinals may worm their way into our discussion.
So, here’s to a productive debate and a Cardinal’s victory!
