With a little help from some pretty awesome lasers (but really, aren’t all lasers awesome?) NASA has achieved upload speeds of 19.44 megabits per second and download speeds of 622 megabits per second over the 384,633 km between Earth and the moon.
And I’ll answer the question we’re all wondering, are those speeds fast enough for the moon-dwelling creatures (calling them monsters seems a little presumptuous to me, they could be friendly) to stream the new season of “Orange is the New Black”?
The answer is yes, which I’m sure is particularly frustrating for those of you huddling in a dark corner of your apartment right now, because that’s where you get the best connection with your wifi.
I mean yeah Science! Now, can you share your magical powers with Comcast?
