While it may be tempting to phone it in, and go with the old standby options, there’s still time to be a little creative.
True, you’re most likely left with whatever is left at the pop-up Halloween store and any costumes from Halloweens past, but that’s still something to work with.
To get you started, here are a few options based on this year’s most popular costumes:
- Zombie Elsa — If wearing the stand-out costume is your thing, there will literally be no one else wearing this costume. Plus, you can hypothetically invent the zombie brain slushie.
- Ninja Olaf — Or, if you prefer — Frosty the Ninja Snowman. There’s something really amusing about a stealthy snowman.
- Clown Sven — For those of you who like your costumes to be truly terrifying, I give you the clown-reindeer hybrid. Be aware that if you decide to go with the red clown nose, there’s a good chance you’ll be mistaken for Rudolph.
In case you haven’t caught on, you’ll be seeing a lot of “Frozen” characters this year.
Of course, if you’re looking for something a little less main stream, but still popular, you can also go with vampire, witch, flapper, or Batman. But I can’t promise you’ll get quite as many compliments or comments.
