Here's an outfit I've been really into the past month or so:

Knit t-shirt dress originally from Target, a hand-me-up from my little sister.

It's a comfortable, cute style and I love how the yellow shoes and belt pop next to the navy blue dress.

In other news, the house is coming along. We're currently half-way done painting the thing and in the middle of a sewer line replacement project - oh and our three plum trees are all fruiting!
So this morning we invited friends over for a "Plum Harvest Brunch, with light earth relocation activity." It was a shot in the dark, who wants to spend their Saturday mornings doing hard-labor in exchange for plums and brunch? Well, some of my amazing friends! That's who! Huuuuuge thanks to Larry, Izzy, Becky, Rashelle, Jessica, Travis and Nate! We got the trees mostly picked and the trench almost done. Hooray.

Taking a break and enjoying some plumbs and juice. Yum!

For the brunch I made two quiches with oat crusts. One veggie quiche with cheese, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach and another with all that minus the mushrooms plus bacon!

The trench so far, just a little more digging before we can replace to sewer line

Overall I'd say it was a fun and successful work party. We'll be having more fun work days in the future, so don't be sad if you missed this one. We still have half a house to paint!
