I can safely say for all you beginners in hiking (such a myself), the route towards Radisson Hotel (used to be Sheraton Hotel) will truly be kind to you. Now, as George Washington cannot and would not tell lies, I have to honestly proclaim that i struggled my way up the first two hills in Tasek Lama, one of my earlier post mentioned how unfit i am nowadays so staggering up those hills, taking each agonizing step up the hills, horrendously hiking, genuinely felt very rewarding in the end. A sense of accomplishment did I achieve. Sadly i didn't get to visit the beautiful waterfall; i however did get to see the babbling brooks of Tasek Lama.
Not as steep as you would think. But still treacherous on the thighs.
I came prepared with a bag.
Contents: Bandages, wet wipes, water, towel, cellphone, tissues, sun glasses, deodorant.
You would laugh, but this morning i was prepared to walk up the hills with a heavy sweater. (My attempt to shed the pounds)
I went with family, and believe it or not....this is a weekly event! Today was my first time.
Through the shrubbery.
The overview of the town (Bandar)
I felt like a boss.
