Prayers For Asher

Friends, I know it is Friday and a lot of you shut down your computers for the weekend.For those of you who see this, please say a prayer.
I was catching up on my Bloglovin blog roll and came across this story.
This is AsherWhat a precious sweet boy.
His parents, the Lings, tried for an extremely long time to conceive their own baby.Then, the Lord opened their hearts to adoption.
For those of you who have experienced longing for a child - through infertility or waiting on adoption...I'm sure you know what this couple felt when they finally received their son - Asher.
The Lings finally publicly announced a hardship that they have been battling the past year.They have an open adoption with Asher's teenage mother.She has been a blessing and a joy to their lives.
Early last year, Asher's father came out of the wood work - trying to stop the Lings' adoption & gain sole physical custody of Asher.
On January 9th, 5 days from now, the courts will make their decision.
I was in tears reading this. The Lings are putting their full faith in God...they feel He had his hand on this from the beginning and believe that Asher belongs in their lives.I cannot even imagine the feeling of growing to love someone so much, and then having them suddenly ripped away.
I am begging you to take a moment to say a prayer, or if you don't pray, to just give this family a moment of silence in your mind.
