Predicting Interior Design Trend 2020

Posted on the 18 November 2019 by Just For Clocks @JustForClocks

We are just few days away from 2020 and I was thinking what could be the new interior design trend of 2020? The new trends on the horizon means a fresh start from the previous year and I always get very excited to see what's in store? Today in my blog I will be expressing my thoughts over the trends making their way into our homes. Let's see....

I am very much aware of this fact that the velvet is not everyone's cup of tea but the coming year will be steaming with velvet and will be quite hot and trendy. What I feel that it is the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. I am talking vibrant blues, pinks, burnt orange and shades of taupe. The possibilities for velvet furniture in 2020 are endless.

I have been following this that the geometric designs have been on an upward pattern throughout recent years, to such an extent that you can discover geometric designed anything, anyplace. The main issue with geometric examples being so prominent is that it's on everything-cups, note pads, backdrop, lounge chairs, bedding, craftsmanship, floors, light apparatuses, and other stylistic theme. It's so natural to try too hard, however don't anticipate that geometric structures should leave at any point in the near future. That is the reason 2020 is about geometric parity. You can in any case create an impression with strong and energetic geometric examples.

A totally new and exciting concept I came across is Biophilia, a new trend that incorporates human design and natural elements in a way that doesn't seem manufactured. In the past few years, our society has grappled with climate change and sustainability. A lot of consumers want to have a stylish home, yet it still incorporates organic elements from the environment. 2020 is all about getting back and giving back to nature. Bedrooms and bathrooms are transformed into ethereal spaces created by using rich earthy elements including metals, wood, and stone.

The Living coral is a hit this year and I can see it moving in 2020 as well. These tones are all about different shades of pink, but they're more subtle. Blush, millennial pink, bronze, taupe, and other light pink shades will work well in a neutral room.

I always had this strong feeling that metals are going to be all over the place in 2020. I am expecting silver, gold, tin, and copper. Tin panels are predicted to be a popular backsplash option for kitchens. The mixed metal decor trend will also be pretty popular. Silver and brown metals will work well together, like iron and gold or bronze. Be careful not to mix more than three metals in one space, or your decor could become way too busy and overwhelming for one room. The right interior design personnel can help you find balance.

Hope you are in the same page like me in bringing out the best interior design trend for 2020. Follow and subscribe to my blog for anything and everything about interiors available under the sun.
